Sam is a HPC registered Physiotherapist with a wide range of experience and a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and high level rehabilitation. He has been working in the NHS since 2012 and has experience with the assessment and treatment of patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and rheumatological conditions, GP and surgical referrals. More recently he has been working as a hand therapist and has developed a keen interest in the rehabilitation of hand and finger injuries. He highly values the importance of evidence based practise and keeps up to date with the latest developments in the profession, regularly attending the BMC climbing injury symposium.
Outside of work Sam has travelled extensively and has spent three summers in America working as an Outdoor Instructor. He is passionate about outdoor pursuits and spends his time rock climbing, snowboarding, cycling, trail running, surfing and freerunning. Combining Physiotherapy with his passions has always been a goal for Sam; recently setting up a Physiotherapy clinic at the Boulderhut to cater for climbing and sports injuries.
