Our standard training plans provide you with an easy to follow schedule accessed through the Training peaks online App.
Each plan consists of the relevant training needed before attempting a Himalayan peak or high altitude trek. Elements of the training include gym work, running, cycling and mountain walking.
Plans are not bespoke to you and have been designed with a basic level of fitness in mind. That means someone not currently taking part in training but has been involved in exercise in the past through sport or gym activity. This plan has been designed for someone taking part in a high altitude trek or small Himalayan peak. It incorporates a training structure to follow through for 10 weeks running up to your planned departure date.
The plan includes indoor and outdoor workouts all of which can be completed around your work/ life routine. Strength sessions include video support for people not confident in this dicipline
This plan has been designed for someone attempting a mountian at 6000 meters high sometimes described as a trekking peak in Nepal. island peak and lobuche are two objectives that the participant may have in mind when taking on this training programme.
This plan has been designed for someone attempting a mountaineering trip to 7000 meters. It includes a week to week schedule of sessions that need to be completed over the 15 weeks prior to your departure date.
